Welcome to this website. It is designed to assist those in the boating community that are looking for an internet site which is directed at “boaties” only. I hope it satisfies all your needs and provides some enjoyment with its interactive community and jokes pages.
How the Website Came About
My name is Bernhard and I have been doing some sailing since my days at Nelson Bay High School. It was a good school and I thank the teachers that persevered with myself and fellow students all those years ago. I also enjoyed years of sailing with my dad and brother, racing with the Port Stephens Yacht Squadron.
Two years ago I bought my first boat which is a South Coast 25 with a lift keel, which I could see needed a little TLC. Easy I thought, being a bit of a handyman around the house, three months tops and it will be looking great. After 3 months I hadn’t even scratched the surface of what needed to be done. I bought a trailer and loaded the boat on it and took my boat home. My original plan for 3 months turned into 10 months and this was just to get the boat ready to go back on the mooring. I am still working on the inside and this may take another 12 months.
This is when I realised that there were a lot of little bits I needed to replace or try to repair. I could not find any place where I could buy used/well loved parts, including the usual boat fittings & sails, etc - you name it. How do all those people out there working on boats find all the bits they need? A website was the answer and so here we are.
My lovely wife has been the marketing guru and my beautiful 18 month old daughter has been the distraction between my job in Sydney and those other little jobs around the house that will be completed some day in the future.

- Boats Wanted and Boat Parts Wanted - if you are looking for a particular boat or item, there is a good chance some one reading this web page will have what you need.
- Community Page - is a great place to get opinions or assistance from other “boaties”, whether it be for little boats, bigger boats, boats with little engines or big engines, or a paddle boat. You may not know anything about boating but have an opinion that is worth listing. This is the place to express your thoughts.
- Time for a Laugh - is just the place to forget about all the things in life that stress us out everyday. Just sit back and read what’s there or submit your own jokes if you know some good ones.
- Contact Us - feel free to send us an email and tell us how good our website is, or suggest improvements. This doesn’t mean we can cater to your every need but anything within reason will be considered.
